Randstad is looking for a Process Technician on 2nd Shift. This is a Direct Hire position and we are looking for someone to fill this position ASAP. The hours on this position are 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, with the occasional overtime on Saturday. The salary will be anywhere from $20 to $22 an hour depending on experience.Responsibilities:- Set-up and start-up of injected molding machines.- Apply injection molding principles and molding theories to troubleshoot and process molding operations.- Perform mold and color changes on injected machines.- Work with Material Handlers and Machine Operators to make sure raw materials within the work cell are readily available.- Monitor machine operation for compliance to all ISO, health, safety, quality, and efficiency standards; analyze and lead continuous improvements.- Work with production management to review and organize production activities.- Collaborate with Tool Room, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment and quality problems within molding cell.- Evaluate scrap reduction techniques within work cell.- Monitor and document daily process conditions; logging changes and drafting detailed mold repair work information form sheets- Brainstorm ideas to maximize productivity and efficiencies while reducing costs.- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization of work area.Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PMSkills:- Experience with injection molding machines. Experience with setting up and fundamental understanding of processing to include: water, material, tool understanding (cores, hot tips, and hydraulic cores).- Ability to use basic hand tools; Allen, open end, and 12" pipe wrenches; ratchet and sockets; screwdrivers; pliers; lockable tool chest.- Good mechanical aptitude, analytical mindset, reasoning abilities and problem solving skills.- Good training and leadership skills; team oriented.Education:High SchoolExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:- Highly motivated.- 2+ years Injection Molding experience required; good molding and processing skills.- Experience operating overhead cranes and riding forklifts.- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push 200 lbs., stand, sit, bend, kneel, or reach throughout shift.- Flexibility to work over time.- Dexterity of hand/eye coordination, especially when using the overhead crane and handling of tools, trim knives, molds, and material.- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.- High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred- Computer experience with Windows, Excel, Word.- English language proficiency, to include verbal and written communication.
