CopyNet Business Center, a full-service print shop in Johnson City has an immediate opening for a full time Production Manager.
The candidate will be expected to perform all store operations as described. The ideal candidate will have experience in as many of these tasks as possible and show the ability to learn quickly.
- Working directly with customers and Receiving print jobs
- Retail sales
- Calculating costs, Quoting and pricing jobs
- Scheduling, running and completing print jobs.
- Operate copiers, digital printers, Cash register, and Bindery equipment such as cutter, drill, saddle-stitcher, etc.
- Perform minor Graphic design, typesetting and layout.
- Preflight and prepare jobs for print.
- Completing invoices and all paperwork accurately
- Communicating with customers and co-workers about print jobs.
- Troubleshooting production issues and customer concerns
- Keep store organized and running smoothly
The following skills are required:
- Knowledge of digital printing processes, papers, and finishing processes.
- Must be punctual, friendly and accurate.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and remember new tasks.
- Possess the ability to solve problems.
- Possess good phone and communication skills.
- Have an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Possess good math and grammar skills.
- Possess the ability to work under pressure of deadlines and meet those deadlines.
- The ability to multitask.
- Possess strong Listening, supervisory, managerial and leadership skills.
The ideal candidate should have strong computer skills, familiarity with and be able to operate software such as Photoshop, Acrobat, Indesign, Word, MS Publisher, Excel, and other utilities.
- Previous store management is preferred.
- Daytime hours
- No weekends.
- Holiday Pay
Starting rate is dependent on knowledge and experience.
