Full-time Automotive Shop Assistant Manager position available. The right candidate must:
- Be experienced in ordering parts & overseeing technician production
- Have a minimum of 10 years experience as an automotive technician with leadership abilities
- Be willing to work a 5 day week, plus a half day on Saturday
- Have good customer service
- Be able to listen to and document symptoms
- Be able to accurately estimate completion times
- Have a valid TN driver's license and a copy of their MVR
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment
Typical Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
- Using scan equipment on vehicles
- Locating parts
- Communicating with customers in a professional manner, and giving them the most accurate estimate of completion time as possible
- Greeting customers
- Calling customers with quotes and confirming permission for repairs
- Organizing the shop technicians and distributing work to techs
