The role of a Diesel Tech is a full-time position, on a daily basis; you would be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on diesel vehicles, repairs and troubleshooting automotive class vehicles to diesel commercial and delivery trucks/vehicles.

Job Summary:
-Preventative maintenance on customer fleets
-Repairs on Medium and Heavy duty Diesel trucks
-Engine accessories
-Computer diagnostics
-Troubleshooting on late model trucks
Job Duties:
-Follow an inspection checklist and perform routine maintenance
-Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions
-Read and interpret diesel diagnostic test results from diagnostic equipment
-Raise diesel trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists
-Inspect diesel brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles
-Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components
-Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment
