Kennedy Construction is in search of Subcontractors for a variety of building projects. We are in need of roofers, siding, framers, electricians, plumbers, concrete workers, and masons. Kennedy Construction is looking for crew leads. Persons applying for these positions should be comfortable with heights, able to lift at least 75 pounds regularly, and able to work in varied weather conditions. This person must also have a valid driverâs license and successfully pass a background check and drug screening. They must have the ability to interpret documents and construction drawings, to prioritize tasks, assign work to and supervise crew members, verify required materials, and file work orders. They must also be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and the public. This person will instruct and lead employees in proper work methods and standards; monitor crew work quality; insure compliance with time schedules, verify conformity with safe work practices, provide performance feedback, and instruction as required. Persons applying will require thorough knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment utilized in the construction/remodeling industry. They will have a working knowledge of leadership skills including communications, motivation, and performance feedback. Some knowledge of the laws and regulations related to supervision would be beneficial.
Kennedy Construction is also looking for hourly employees. Persons applying for these positions should be comfortable with heights, able to lift at least 75 pounds regularly, and able to work in varied weather conditions.
