The Depot Operator role is responsible for a wide variety of depot-based tasks, supporting the sales and delivery of fuel and lubricants to our customers in Darwin and the wider NT. This role will be pivotal to driving operational efficiency through a number of tasks including timely customer invoicing, coordination of depot resources, stock balancing and customer engagement.  Whilst the successful applicant doesn’t need fuel industry experience, it is expected that they have strong communication and organisation skills and a willingness to learn.  The successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic team player who has delivered strong results in a similar operational role.This is a great opportunity for someone to learn about the fuel industry from the ground up, in a supportive and professional fuel-based business, where your can-do attitude will see you succeed.Your responsibilities will be to provide general depot duties and administration duties, including:Manage inbound customer enquiries providing price quotes and ordering via phone, email and over the counter. Maintain high standards of customer service and address any customer concerns effectivelyDepot Stock Control including: Stock reconciliation, invoicing and managing site fuel balancesFilling the depots Pods ready for transport to Isaland customers Day-to-day operations including, depot inspections, depot dips, vehicle inspectionsFocal point for accuracy in our In-house systems, including ERP.Collaborate with Senior Leaders to improve depot processes, including streamlining and standardising stocks and procedures across all locations
