The scheduler is a critical role in our supply chain, based in Wishart Rd Office, Berrimah. In this role you are accountable for stock management and scheduling fuel deliveries to our metro & surrounding customers and delivering great customer service. This role is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, 38 hours a week.After hours phone: there is a requirement to take calls and potentially adjust schedules after hours as the role relies heavily on operational success, after hours phone is shared between CSC staff.Key tasks include:Scheduling – planning loads in accordance with regulations.Stock management – reviewing and maintaining stock levels for vendor managed sites (VMI) and our internal depot's locations.Customer service, providing updates on fuel deliveries.High internal communication, regular updates and feedback to our customer and internal stakeholders.Optimise fleet schedules, maximising products to customer tanks.Problem solving, thinking outside the square and providing potential solutions to aid and close unplanned schedule or truck availability changes.To be successful in this role you will be:Well organised and proactive, enabling you to plan and build efficient daily delivery schedules for our fleet in Metro Darwin.An effective communicator, you will be able to deal with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, understand their requirements and the capability of our fleet and drivers.A problem solver!
