Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Officer supports the hotel’s day‑to‑day financial operations. This hands‑on role is critical to ensuring accurate financial transactions, strong internal controls and timely reporting across the hotel.You will work closely with hotel departments, suppliers and external partners, contributing to smooth operational delivery and successful month‑end outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts ReceivableProcessing invoices, receipts and credit card transactionsMonitoring debtor balances and following up outstanding accountsMaintaining accurate guest and company account recordsAssisting with daily revenue and banking reconciliationsAccounts PayableProcessing supplier invoices in line with approval and hotel proceduresMaintaining vendor records and reconciliationsPreparing and supporting weekly payment runsManaging accounts payable ageing and resolving discrepanciesInventory ManagementPlacing orders for beverage itemsConducting month‑end beverage stock counts for the cellar and barMaintaining the cellar in a clean, safe and orderly conditionEnsuring PAR stock levels are maintained within the cellarGeneral Finance SupportAssisting with month‑end journals, reconciliations and reportingMaintaining accurate financial records and documentationSupporting audits and internal control requirementsLiaising with hotel departments and external suppliersIdentifying process improvements and supporting finance initiatives
