Your New RoleThe Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the ICT team ensuring the availability and reliability of systems and networks across multiple environments. The Operations manager will be required to manage a wide range of technologies while delivering improved efficiencies and productivity to meet the contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs). They must ensure the organisation IT policies are procedures are up to date and complaint with both Leidos and customer policies.Responsibilities include:Overseeing the daily operation of a small ICT team and ensure that the systems and networks are running smoothlyDevelop and implement policies, processes and procedures that improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity;Performing HR duties such as recruiting, selecting, scheduling, counselling and disciplining employeesLeading a team of ICT professionals providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.Manage the planning and scheduling of deliveries, collection and support to best utilise available resourcesAssess system and team performance and recommend improvements.Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing site environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures; complying with applicable Work Health Safety (WHS) Act standards;
