PlanningProvide the sales and marketing input into the 3YP, the Annual Budget and the various corporate questionnaires submitted to Sika APDetermine strategic direction with regards to product offering, market penetration and areas of focus.Communicate product requirements (MIN/MAX forecasts) to the Purchasing Department to ensure the timely availability of the product.Execute market studiesAssist with the issuance of Product Warranties to ensure compliance with Corporate Legal and local guidelines. Marketing & SalesWork with all Sales to achieve specific Roofing sales objectives in relation to the budgets.Prepare and implement an appropriate marketing plan.Provide market and product specific training on an ongoing basis.Where possible, together with the Building Systems Head, ensure that all new Sales Staff hired meet the minimum experience and technical training requirements.Develop a list of criteria to permit the methodical evaluation of potential applicators, where applicable, to ensure their suitability (we want financially and technically strong applicants).Develop, implement and maintain a training program for applicators and distributors to ensure technical competency and compliance with Sika’s requirements. Product ManagementSystematically review the Roofing product range to ensure that all products and systems performed satisfactorily.Review and redefine the technical specifications and product limitations as necessary.Prepare and update all product documentation (technical data sheets, brochures, packaging and any related items, etc.) in conjunction with R&D and the Marketing Department.
