Job Description

Primary Responsibilities and Skills

  • Experience as leader in the area of IT Solutions Development (Software lifecycle management) in an Agile environment. Proven expertise in software development & deployment, Infrastructure service delivery and Global IT operations.

  • Should have handled or lead the General Management topics such as Budget Management, Finance reporting, Human Resources including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and other administrative support functions.

  • Meets the Software Development KPIs for software development projects. Meet the service targets, quality standards and customer requirements and establish a Strong working relationship with the various stakeholders.

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.

  • Self-managed (Self propelling) leadership style is highly preferred.

Secondary Skills:

  • IT Service Management (Design, Transition and Operations) to deliver Offshore IT Operations.

  • Planning, organization and management of the work

  • Precision, reliability, dynamism and flexibility.

  • Able to manage complex and large projects

Domain expertise:

  • Proven work experience as a heading IT Delivery Centre

  • Good technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non- technical audience

  • Customer- service oriented with a problem- solving attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Team and People management skills

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

  • 15-20 years of experience in leading and managing teams and integrating their results and executing

    program strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of software development processes such as CMMI (at level 3 minimum)

  • Experience of setting, adhering to and achieving/exceeding SLAs.

  • Excellent People Management skills with a strong commitment to customer service excellence.

  • Should be flexible to work in the different time zone to support the priority stakeholders across different

    geographies.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
  • Industry certifications such as TOGAF, Azure/AWS, ITIL, is a plus
