We have a family member who is in the early stage of Alzheimer.
We are a snow bird family. Living in the Northern United States during the late spring, early summer and early fall. We spend the winter in Florida and/or PR. We have multiple houses in multiple locations and travel between them multiple times a year. This year we flew over 40 times including multiple trips overseas.
We are property investors and managers. The successful applicant will become part of the family, working with us when we work, playing with us when we play, travelling with us when we travel...getting to know the family and becoming a close personal assistant to the person in the early stages of Alzheimer. The successful applicant will live with us having no expenses while they are with the family. Salary plus (after the successful applicant has been in the position 2 years) they will be allowed to enter into the companies investment pool with other company employees.
This position should be considered a long term position with extreme benefits for the successful applicant. Whether you are single, married or wanting to become married (or long term relationship), all of our houses are large enough to accommodate a couple or family...If you are the type of person who is good at helping others this might be the position for you.
The person you would be caring for presently still has a good mind and thought processes, is 100 percent capable of taking care of themselves but the symptoms are there and becoming more pronounced. Having a CNA license would be considered an advantage on any resume. CNA Training could be provided if you are willing to do On the Job Training. Drivers license a must. Background check will be conducted. Moderate consumption of alcohol would be acceptable but use of illegal drugs or intoxication could be grounds for termination. Smoking is not allowed in any of our houses, offices or vehicles.
All living expenses such as housing, transportation, meals...are part of the salary package. A salary stipend would provide for your personal items such as shampoo, toothpaste...and clothing. All the cash part of the salary package you receive could be saved.
