A young family is seeking a dedicated and caring full-time Nanny for their two children (newborn and pre-school aged). This position requires a caring individual who can assist with daily care and activities for a pre-school aged child, no newborn duties will be required as there will be a NCS for the baby initially. Care of the baby after approximately 3 months may be required. Family have a small dog, you must not be allergic to dogs as you will be working with the dog in the house.
As full-time Nanny, you will collaborate with the other Nanny in providing care for the two children. Additional duties will include light housekeeping, planning, and preparing snacks and meals, children’s laundry, and cleaning and organizing play areas in addition to the day to day needs, developmental activities, and travel.
The family is looking for someone who is bilingual in Spanish and English. Travel will be required to the New York area during the summer months (accommodations provided). Local Puerto Rico candidates preferred with a clean driving record. New York/New Jersey candidates may be considered.
Responsibilities
-Provide care for toddler, ensuring a safe and engaging environment while adhering to the child’s daily schedule
-Speak Spanish, promoting language development alongside English (Spanish fluency preferred; Russian language skills in addition to Spanish are a big plus)
-Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
-Clean up after child and maintain organization of her belongings
-Light housekeeping, organization, and laundry
Qualifications
-5+ years’ experience in childcare (experience with pre-school and newborns preferred)
-CPR certification
-No pet allergies, must be comfortable around small dog
-Fluent in English/Spanish (native language/strongly preferred)
-Reliable transportation and clean driving record
-Ability to make meals for the child (lunches, snacks)
-Rare but appreciated flexibility with evenings and weekends
-Passport ready and travel during summer months (no commitments at home to keep you from travel)
Location: Isla Verde, PR (00913)
Contract Length: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, some overnights and weekends as requested, travel to US over summer months
Rate: $35-40/hr (DOE); stipend towards benefits may be offered (TBD)
