We are looking for a professional, friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated, clever and extremely well-organized individual to virtually assist our company executives.
The Executive Assistant plays a key role in keeping the CEO organized, on-track, and moving forward. This person has a variety of responsibilities within different organizations most of which are of a highly confidential and critical nature. It is important that this person conducts and completes all tasks with minimum supervision. This person should enjoy their work while being professional and possessing an unwavering can-do attitude.
This is an excellent opportunity to work from home most days, but with the ability to expand your professional horizons while working with some of the worldâs leading venture backed startups.
Current and future responsibilities may include:
Provide all levels of virtual support to CEO; including assisting the CEO's personal tasks, using email and IM messenger tools (Skype and MSN)
Manage a calendar
Coordinate meetings and conference calls, and attend as requested to develop minutes.
Organize and schedule all travelâboth international and domestic for Executive Team (must be experienced and comfortable in complicated multi-city and multi-country travel plans; this will include personal travel)
Manage internal and external events
Provide editorial review for website content, blogs and social media sites
Work with the existing virtual international team to accomplish any of the above responsibilities
Keep current and have a general interest in mobile technology developments and share discoveries with the entire team
Work with the companyâs accountant to maintain personal and business tax records
Requirements:
MUST BE A SELF STARTER and have the ability to meet deadlines without daily management
As a personal representative of the company and executives, mastery of spoken and written English is required.
Passionate about empowering a highly mobile worker experience
Ability to call the United States to arrange various tasks
Available throughout the working day (10 AM to 6 PM, Pacific Time), though a regular work schedule is not required
Own and use your own computer equipment, including Microsoft Office
Include the word detail in the subject line of your email to be considered
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Mastery of searching the internet, including travel planning
Expert PowerPoint or Keynote user is highly desired
Creative and professional writing skills are highly desired.
A degree is NOT required.
Portfolio of your work should include:
Any document, including PowerPoint, Word, Keynote, etc. that demonstrate your writing and design skills.
Hours: We will expect flexibility in your work schedule, but rarely will it be necessary for you to work outside of standard working hours.
Compensation: Hourly, rate depending on your experience and qualifications.
Location: The company is headquartered in New York, but is looking for someone to work from their home with roughly 4 hours per week on site to assist in the coordination of product shipping.
