Charleston Grounds Management is seeking to hire a Spray Technician to join our team.
$300.00 Sign on Bonus, after 90 days. Hiring immediately.

Job summary:Spray technician Full Time-All Year
We use a ride on sprayer- Not a hose and reel!
Create and manage turf spray schedule for all properties
Manage efficiency to meet required turf care hours
Indicate what chemicals are used and when
Identify weeds and turf issues
Mix and spray chemicals using a ride on sprayer
Conduct chemical inventory and order as needed
Meet with management weekly or as needed on all Spray Department activity
Have general knowledge about maintaining commercial landscapes
Ability to train crews as needed
Identify shrub issues
Fertilize flowers
Adjust irrigation timers and minor repairs as needed
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (that is insurable)
Provide a 3-year driving record
2 years' experience in Turf Treatments (spraying, chemical mixing and turf issues)
Ability to organize work, train others and complete high quality work on schedule
Leadership skills
Ability to do physical work (Lift 50 pounds)
Have knowledge about landscape and plant care
Be responsible and accountable
Professional attitude and appearance
Maintain equipment and ensure proper use of PPE
Should have general landscape maintenance experience
Aquatic experience is a plus
Irrigation experience of at least 2 years in adjustments

Pesticide license preferred but not required.-Must pass exam with 90 days.
