Job Overview

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for all sales activities within a defined geographical territory for projects related to existing and potential customers, and projects of/ in excess of $5 million. The TAM is responsible for accounts within all the sectors company services including Construction, Industrial, Events, Government, and Agricultural.

ResponsibilitiesConduct effective sales presentations on the company's product line in response to the unique needs of each customer.Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashionAct as liaison between customers, sales, field operations, and office personnel to resolve general inquiries & issues for customersAnalyze competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business developmentNetwork with businesses in the territory and build relationships and attend relevant industry events and conferences to build businessBuild the company within the territory using a variety of sales techniquesWork to revenue targets and KPI's as set by the Director of SalesTarget potential customers and assess opportunities for salesArrange meetings with potential customers and sell product offeringsFollow up on sales leads from other representatives within the organizationWork closely with other Sector Account Managers, Key Account Managers, National Account Managers, and Territory Account ManagersDevelop sales strategies to target existing and potential accountsProduce quotes and orders as well as documenting sales activities and leveraging business intelligence through SalesforcePerform other duties as assigned.
