My sailing charter business based in St. John, USVI is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Crew Member to assist on day sails and sunset trips around the beautiful U.S. Virgin Islands. Our charters take guests to top snorkeling spots, pristine beaches, and offer unforgettable sailing experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the captain with all aspects of each sailing trip.
- Help with sailing and maneuvering the boat (no previous experience required, but it’s a plus!).
- Serve food and drinks to guests.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and happiness of guests throughout their trip.
- Maintain a friendly and positive attitude, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- No previous boating experience is necessary, but any prior experience with sailing, customer service, or hospitality is a bonus.
- Must be willing to learn on the job; on-the-job training will be provided and boating safety classes are available.
- Must be flexible and available to work 3-7 days per week, with no set schedule. Availability every day of the week is desired as the schedule changes weekly.
- A positive attitude, team-player mentality, and excellent communication skills are essential.
