HOOK'D USVI is seeking an experienced Prep Cook to join our kitchen team! The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and has a passion for preparing high-quality ingredients that set the foundation for great dishes. Looking for a candidate with open availability, specifically for the AM shift and on weekends.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and prep lists
Assist with basic cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, and baking
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Work efficiently and cooperatively with other kitchen staff
Requirements:
VALID HEALTH CARD
1-2 years of proven experience as a prep cook in a busy kitchen
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask under pressure
