This position will involve assisting in packing coffee, grocery inventory, deliveries, and preventative maintenance service support as well as training on roasting coffee. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Training and roasting coffee under direction of Roaster.
Assisting coffee packer in weekly orders & bag prep.
Prepping & shipping online orders with USPS.
Assisting with green coffee delivery, unloading shipments and organizing the roastery.
Weekly grocery inventory.
Weekly deliveries and stocking of customers' shelves.
Assist with quarterly water filter changes
Managing the retail component of the roastery, stocking hot/cold coffee & retail bags.
Engaging with all guests of the space in a positive way.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be a current USVI resident.
Experience sought:
Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for coffee.
Strong mathematical and time management skills.
Self-motivated with an ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to manage and prioritize daily and weekly tasks with focus on current tasks.
Ability to listen, learn, and follow through.
Problem-solving skills.
