The Volunteer Coordinator is a paid position that is responsible for the volunteer portion of the program; recruiting, training, and assigning volunteers where needed, ensuring that meal deliveries are made, providing support for volunteers and maintaining records on volunteers as required. Provide kitchen sheets to kitchen staff and ensures volunteers have up to date route sheets each day. Works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director.A.ii iHave experience working with community volunteer programs.B.ii iHave pleasant character, disposition and genuine concern for the welfare of the volunteers and clients.C.ii iBe knowledgeable of problems, limitations and challenges affecting the elderly and disabled adults.D.ii iPossess strong organizational, supervisory and administrative skills.E.ii iAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions.F.ii iBe detail oriented.G.i i Skill in operation of computers, Microsoft programs and other office machines.H.i i Minimum of one year office experience, including data entry.iInterested Applicants can apply in person at 717 N. 10th St. Abilene, Texas 79601
