Turf Care USA is seeking a reliable and skilled Commercial Pesticide Herbicide Applicator to join our professional grounds maintenance team at Dyess AFB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying herbicides to effectively control weeds in the turf and landscape bed areas at the base.
Key Responsibilities
Apply herbicides according to safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
Assess sites for weed infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods.
Maintain accurate records of pesticide applications and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations
Communicate effectively with the site manager to determine treatment options and spray applications schedules.
Conduct routine equipment maintenance and ensure all applicator gear is in good working order.
Stay update on industry best practices and advancements in pest management.
Assist with other grounds maintenance tasks directed by the site manager.
Qualifications
Current Texas commercial pesticide applicator license with categories 3 and 3A.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass government background check to gain access to the Air Force base.
Proven experience in pesticide application and weed control.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
