Position Summary
The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting parts, materials, and supplies to Marathon Homes’ dealership partners across the region. This role requires safe and timely operation of a truck and trailer, strong attention to detail, and professionalism in representing Marathon Homes in all dealer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a truck and trailer to transport manufactured home parts, materials, and supplies to dealerships and service locations
- Load, secure, and unload cargo to ensure proper handling and delivery of all items
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage logs, delivery receipts, and trip reports
- Follow assigned delivery schedules while adapting to changes in routing as necessary
- Communicate effectively with the Marathon Homes service and logistics teams regarding delivery status and needs
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Uphold all DOT, state, and company safety regulations and procedures
- Provide professional and courteous service to dealership staff and customers
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required)
- Proven experience driving a truck with a trailer (flatbed, gooseneck, or similar)
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious
