This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with enterprise reporting systems including Splunk is critical; experience with other data visualization and reporting systems like Tableaux is desirable.
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles and network design, particularly as it relates to information and data security, including firewalls and concepts of multi-tier network segmentation.
Strong understanding of database design principles and experience with structured query language (SQL), enterprise data management, and with data extraction, transformation, and load operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, ability to develop collaborative relationships with partner teams and customer organizations is critical.
Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale systems integration and workflow automation.
Hands-on experience with the software quality assurance process and understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices for defect management.
Advanced knowledge of performance metrics and reporting: identifying/defining KPI's that indicate a healthy operating condition for a given infrastructure or application and then defining instrumentation and alerting to monitor those KPI's.
Excellent technical problem resolution skills and front-line experience supporting mission critical applications and infrastructure.
Advanced knowledge of information systems architectures and enterprise application design.
Software development or basic programming or scripting skills not required but a good understanding of basic software development lifecycle, Information Technology Service Management processes, and enterprise change control processes is critical for this role.
Hands-on experience with IT risk management best practices and with addressing resolving any issues identified during IT audit programs.
Effective collaboration with peer groups to identify and highlight best practices in support through continuous assessment, and elevating process and product recommendations to senior managers.
