The Perioperative RN Nurse Director will have the wonderful opportunity to provide hands-on leadership in a fast-paced surgical services department. The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will oversee the facility’s 15+ operating suites, sterile processing department, and post-anesthesia care unit, along with all RN staff, surgeons, techs, and anesthesia staff. The RN Nurse Director of Periop will work closely with the Administrative Director of Perioperative Services in order to ensure smooth daily operations, manage quality improvement activities, as well as to develop and lead training and education programs for all OR staff. The Perioperative RN Nurse Director will also be responsible for ordering and maintaining OR supplies and equipment, in addition to collaborating with other unit directors to effectively manage the surgical services department and provide high quality patient care.
The Perioperative RN Nurse Director must obtain a BSN and a minimum of 2+ years of healthcare leadership experience. MSN or MBA is preferred, along with CNOR certification.
