Design and develop advanced components, subsystems, and systems for national defense programs.
Employ state-of-the-art technologies, including sophisticated software tools for design, analysis, modeling, and simulation.
Provide necessary conceptual designs.
Provide detailed hardware design (a combination of analog, digital, embedded firmware, schematic capture, board layout).
Provide software design (instrument drivers, system integration designs, database design/interface, report generation, related software quality assurance documentation).
Perform necessary analysis.
Oversee fabrication of hardware.
Define and execute qualification and testing plans.
Provide field and project management support document generation and maintenance.
Design and develop software applications used to automate complex instrumentation systems, perform calculations on and manipulate very large data sets, interface with databases, create user friendly operator interfaces, and consolidate results into legible reports.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequirements:
B.S. in Computer Engineering from ABET accredited program.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Must be US citizen.
Successful drug screening.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
Preferred Qualifications:
20 plus years of relevant professional experience.
P.E. License.
An Active Q Clearance.
Experience in an NRC or DOE regulated environment.
Experience in the following:
Circuit design and analysis.
Embedded system design and coding.
Radio Frequency (RF).
Network Analyzers.
Programming - C, C#, C, Labview.
National Instruments.
Verilog.
VHDL.
PCB Design.
Test Automation.
Commercial Equipment Integration.
Oscilloscopes.
Electronic Loads.
