Description Preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting are among the key responsibilities for this role. Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests Requirements - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Skilled at time management
Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Skilled with ERP systems
GAAP Accounting experience desired
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
