Ranch/farm caretaker (Stanley)
The full-time position is available for a mature, responsible couple or individual needed to maintain and care for a small farm/ranch near Stanley/ Madrid, NM. Benefits include 2 bedroom apartment (utilities included.) Salary depends on qualifications and experience. The ranch caretaker will be responsible for caring for a small number of livestock, including horses, donkeys, sheep, hogs, chickens, dogs, and cats, located near the caretaker's residence and guest housing. You'll need experience with animal husbandry, hauling animals, and monthly unloading of hay and 50 lb bagged grain. Minor handyman maintenance of equipment and tractor along with the houses and living areas will also be needed. Being detail-oriented, organized, multitasking, and motivated are key attributes for success. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. The couple or individual will follow a daily/weekly duties list and work collaboratively with management—references are required. Basic English language skills are necessary.
