Title Clerk – Job Description
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
2 years+ Customer Service experience.
2 years+ Cash Handling experience.
Must have solid knowledge of basic office systems including the Microsoft Office suite with a specific emphasis on Excel.
Basic knowledge of office machine utilization.
Dependable transportation – the successful candidate will be required to make weekly trips to local tax offices, customer business locations, etc.
MUST be eligible to become a Texas Notary Public.
MUST be able to pass a background check.
The Ideal Candidate
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with multiple daily, weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines.
Will have business and administrative-based experience and the ability to apply previous experience to current tasks.
Some college coursework, preferably in business administration or a related field.
Will have proficient Excel skills and the desire to learn more as needed.
Will be highly teachable and will focus on continuous learning and self-improvement.
Strong personality preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Basic title work as needed.
General document preservation, filing, and retrieval.
Assisting with walk-in traffic and providing customer service.
