Public Steel, Inc. is currently looking to add a full-time Inside Sales Associate to our team. We are seeking applicants who are friendly, customer-oriented, and ready to begin a career in steel sales. This position primarily involves taking incoming calls, assisting customers with product selection, writing invoices, and coordinating with the shop for processing orders. The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Sometimes call volumes can be high, so it will be important for the Inside Sales Associate to make good use of time and be organized to process orders in a timely fashion.
Skill Set of Inside Sales Associate
⢠High School diploma or equivalent required
⢠Previous experience with steel products is a plus
⢠Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
⢠Familiarity with Windows Operating System
⢠Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
⢠Previous successful inside sales experience preferred
Position Specifics
⢠Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm
⢠Compensation (negotiable based on previous experience & industry knowledge)
Base Salary Paid Weekly
Commission Paid Monthly
⢠Full Benefits (available after 60 days of employment)
