We have been retained by our client in the southern area of Arlington, Texas (Southeast Arlington, Texas) to deliver a RMA Project Coordinator, on a full-time direct hire basis. This career opportunity has excellent benefits, 401k matching, a year-end bonus, and paid vacation.
Responsible for management of Field RMA returns / priorities. Will manage the material supply and return of multiple accounts changing out device components in the field. Experience with a RMA, warranty or loyalty program is preferred. The initial assignment is expected to last three years, with career advancement following. With double digit (10%+) revenue growth year on year, except for during Covid, but moving much faster now. This position is expected to grow as the business grows. 1. Work with the returns material allowance (RMA) team who will manage the internal return material authorization process.
2. Manage cross shipment agreements, warranty replacements, advanced/upgraded replacements and the product being returned. (A cross shipment is the delivery of a new product installed in the field to replace an existing product in the field. The existing product is to be returned. The customers sign they will return the product. If they do not return the product, the customer is charged.).
3. Manage multiple customer relationships. Manage the installation process using internal staff installers and external third-party installers. Manage and solve customer issues or problems over and above the standard customer service level. Installation team is managed by the Customer Focus Coordinator, and this position would work through and with the Customer Focus Coordinator. If third-party, sub-contracted installers are changing out device components in the field, this position, the RMA Project Coordinator, when needed will work with and direct third party installers.
4. Ensure new product is available and shipped in readiness for installation or agreed supply.
5. Manage the return of removed products returned for credit. Products not returned are customer s responsibility, and will/may be invoiced at stated value.
6. Significant dollars will be involved, multiple accounts, both requiring financial accountability.
Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree preferred, but not required if candidate has some RMA experience or RMA career focus.
Preferred Major or preferred Courses: Management, or Finance, or Project Management
Experience with a RMA, warranty or loyalty program is preferred. Preferably someone who has leadership skills/experience or previously managed or lead a team, but we are willing to consider an Entry-Level candidate with right Bachelor s degree. Worked with and understands financial accountability, worked with multiple customer projects, empathetic with customers but detailed, and some experience in logistics and/or inventory. Experience working in a customer focused role and interfacing with customer. Experience with Microsoft Office products, with MS Excel skills at the intermediate to advanced level preferred. MS Excel V-lookups or pivot tables are a plus. Experience with Microsoft Project using the basic calendar functions useful, but not required but MS Project experience is preferred. Experience manipulating data and sorting data in Microsoft Excel in order to determine or validate things such as serial numbers of products, in example. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Nav (Navision) or Dynamics Great Plains or any MS Dynamics products are a plus. Our client is using MS Dynamics NAV, an accounting / ERP (enterprise resource planning) tool / software application. Basic data entry and basic report creation with Crystal reports a plus. An entry level graduate may be considered, with a bachelors degree in accounting or bachelors degree in management, and associated coursework or experience.
Good written, verbal, and telephone skills demonstrating an empathetic approach to dealing with both external & internal employees. Travel may be occasionally required, including international trips, ability to manage multiple changing priorities. Able to and enjoys presenting information, communicating instructions and/or guiding others in an empathetic manner both verbally and in writing. Self-motivated and be able to move at the required pace without direct supervision.
