The Director of Operations - Georgetown, under the direction of the VP of Operations - Offsite
Ten years progressively responsible business management experience including, five years of experience managing site operations. Bachelor's Degree may substitute for experience year for year;
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities with internal and external stakeholders;
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent direction and judgment and work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment;
Business acumen;
Demonstrated emotional intelligence;
High integrity/excellent critical thinking skills;
Strong leadership, exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and understand profit and loss statements and manage an operating budget
Proficiency with Microsoft Office – i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Solid waste background with facility management experience.
Bachelors Degree preferably in Business, managements, supply chain or other related field.
Valid Class C driver’s license;
Safe driving record for the past three years; and
Class B MSW License or the ability to obtain one within three months of employment.
