We are a rapidly growing commercial composting and recycling company here in Austin. We work hard, we get sweaty and smelly and we like to have fun! We are currently hiring a full time Operations Assistant.
Duties for this position include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting the owner, warehouse manager and hauler manager in developing and maintaining systems for tracking KPIs, employee records, inventory management and fleet maintenance.
- Developing good working relationships with vendors and communicating issues and needs.
- Providing general support in day to day functions of business, including driving 26 box truck on routes when we are short staffed.
- Must be available to work weekends.
Skills Required for this position include:
- Proficiency with Excel, Word and/or Google Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and stay focused in a busy setting.
- Ability to work in a dirty, smelly environment (we are composters after all!)
- Experience driving box trucks.
- Bonus if you have experience working with SalesForce, composting, enthusiasm for the environment, routing and/or spreadsheeting.
