Responsible for inbound and outbound customer calls, call documentation and payment collections.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work on automated dialer 95% of scheduled hours.
Review, analyze, and take appropriate action on a daily basis for all calls or correspondence.
Answer high call volume on a daily basis with the intent to collect payment or resolve accounts.
Use tact and diplomacy when interacting with customer calls. Must adhere to the FCRA, FDCPA, and HIPAA regulations.
Document accurate information on calls.
Interface professionally with other departments as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management team.
Must provide excellent customer service to all customer calls.
Must maintain pleasant attitude, informative and courteous manner with all customer calls.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
Interpersonal Skills - ability to work effectively with management, other employees, patients and external parties.
Basic computer skills required.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Experience in a call center or healthcare environment preferred but not required
