COME WORK OUR TDS GREEN EVENTS
You can choose your events, we have plenty to choose from - currently staffing for Dell Match Play, NASCAR, MOTO GP and other events in the Austin area throughout the year.
PAY: $18/HOUR, unless otherwise specified
TDS Green Events Workers are seasonal, temporary positions that works TDS events on an as-needed basis. The Green Events Worker will provide support services directly related to their assigned event.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Restroom attendants: maintain trailers by stocking with paper towels, toilet paper, keeping inside clean and picking up trash inside/outside of the trailers and sanitize door handles
Composting team: collect and transport bags of compost to either on-site compactors or rolloffs
Trash attendants: set up trash and recycle carts before events, transport trash and recycle bags to on-site box trucks or rolloffs
Help with projects on-site or at venues to get ready for events
Other duties may include: event setup and breakdown, monitoring trash on the ground, working with compost process, the possibilities are endless!
WHAT CAN I BRING TO TDS?
Must be able to lift 40-50 pound bags of trash and/or recycling
Must understand that we are working with trash and sometimes we will need to get into bags to make sure compost or recycling is inside
Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills and exhibit a professional demeanor;
Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours based on event schedules; and
Ability to work efficiently and productively with minimal direct supervision.
Must have reliable transportation
