Math and/or English Instructors
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Working with students grades Pre-K to 9th in small groups (3-6 students)
-Adhere to established teaching curriculum (curriculum will be provided along with teaching materials, so minimal planning is required)
-Monitor student progress and performance
-Document and share student progress and performance
-Ability to build rapport with students and motivate all kids positively
-Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and center staff
-Other responsibilities as assigned by the center director
Qualifications and Skills:
-Teaching experience preferred, but will consider other related experience
-Willing to be trained to handle both in-center and virtual classes
-Experience working with children
-College graduate or currently studying
-Well organized with the ability to multitask
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-On time/punctual
-Residing near the 78750 Austin zip code is strongly preferred
-Work authorization in the US
-Subject to background check
Hours: 3-7:30 pm M-F (actual hours vary)
Pay: $20 - $25, depending on experience
