Elements Preschool is looking to hire a full-time teacher for our 2 year-old class. If you enjoy working with young children and being part of supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!
Please note: this position starts late April
The hours are 9AM to 5PM. Starting pay is $18.

Job Duties and Employee Traits Include:
Having patience and empathy towards young children
Classroom management skills
Enthusiasm for using a wide range of teaching methods (stories, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc)
Understanding principles of child development and preschool educational methods
Encouraging children to interact with each other and ability to act as a calm mediator during arguments
Guiding children in daily lessons and following Elements' curriculum
Diaper changing and helping children with potty training
Preparing nap mats and helping children calm their bodies for rest time
Distributing snacks and meals
Supervising children to ensure they are safe at all times
Ability to enter children’s daily reports and pictures on an app
Willingness to communicate with parents regularly in a professional and kind manner
Maintaining a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Certification in child CPR and First Aid techniques (or willingness to become certified)
Must be reliable and punctual
