I'm looking for an experienced teacher to work with my 7 y/o ASD son. He's verbal and very smart, but isn't quite ready to perform in a traditional school setting yet. He participates in a significant amount of therapy during the week to improve skills with the intention of eventually going to school (hopefully in a year). He is improving significantly and continuously as a result. All his therapies leave opportunity for school only 3 days/week, for 3 hours each day. His previous home school teacher quit because of COVID (won't leave home anymore) and we're looking for someone to take over so he doesn't continue to backslide on all his academic progress. He was in between kindergarten and 1st grade as far as academic level, before the quarantine began. He does very well with one-on-one instruction and he's sweet and compliant.
