ARCHITECTURAL INTERN
Architexas Architecture, Planning and Historic Preservation, Inc. is a mid-size architectural firm with offices in Dallas and Austin that provides architecture, planning and urban design services, and is recognized nationally for award-winning preservation projects.
Architexas Austin is seeking a full-time Architectural Intern, beginning immediately, with the following qualifications:
- Professional degree in architecture; advanced degree or strong interest in historic preservation is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience working in an architectural firm.
- Proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD 2015 or higher for drawing and drafting is required.
- Competence in Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, MS Office and MS Project is a required.
- Experience in HABS documentation or converting measured field drawings into CAD drawings is a plus.
- Good hand drafting/drawing skills for legibility of field survey work.
- Good writing/communication skills.
- Conscientious, detail oriented, desire to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Must be willing to accompany project manager(s) on site visits; some travel may be required. Must also be
willing to communicate with clients by phone, in person, etc.
- Available for full time employment.
