As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team on a contract basis for pool and architectural design projects.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a contract CAD Technician (8-16 hours per week) who will be responsible for converting the owner's hand-drawn designs into precise CAD drawings for one, Optima Pools with our high-end pool/outdoor projects, and two, Rhadius PC for the owner’s architectural firm as well.
The ideal candidate will start by training with the company owner to learn our specific design processes before taking over the drafting work independently. The position requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills & reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce accurate CAD technical drawings for pool designs & translate red-lined architectural drawings into CAD format with precision and clarity utilizing Optima & Rhadius’ CAD standards
- Ensure all designs meet the company’s high standards and align with our vision for innovation
- Uphold and promote the company’s culture, values, and commitment to customer satisfaction in all interactions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of the architectural and/or pool industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Motivated individual that possesses ability to manage multiple tasks & work independently with minimal supervision after training period
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new design techniques and industry standards
Compensation: Contract position, paid hourly / Rate: $25 per hour (negotiable based on experience and skill level)
