I am a Structural Engineer with a fast-paced and rapidly growing 1-person firm in search of a talented Graduate Structural Engineer or EIT. You will be my right-hand man or woman and assist with all aspects of the business. The goal is to ultimately cultivate strong, well-rounded, top-tier engineers.
A strong engineer possesses some combination of these personal qualities:

-Ability to adapt and improvise in complex situations

-Possess a wide-ranging database of practical construction knowledge

A strong engineer performs a myriad of functions:
-Perform accurate engineering analysis and design across all materials (wood, masonry, hot-rolled steel, cold-formed steel, reinforced concrete, etc.)
-Create and draft construction documentation to clearly express design intent
-Performing site visits to verify proper execution of design intent, troubleshoot construction issues, respond to field questions, and perform quality control
-Coordinate with architects, builders, and clients to ensure their design vision is fulfilled, respond to RFI’s and other requests, just keep them happy in general
-Ability to evaluate, repair, and modify existing structures of all types, age, and condition
-Ability to express your ideas and professional opinions through written engineering reports or assessments
-Assist with office functions, keeping things flowing and well-organized
