AWS Marketplace makes it easy to buy and sell cloud-based software, and we're one of the fastest-growing businesses in AWS. We're bringing Amazon's e-commerce expertise to cloud software, and fundamentally changing how software is bought and sold in the cloud - and we need your help! We are building the world's leading global technology marketplace to enable millions of developers and information workers to discover and deploy any software or service.

We are looking for Senior Engineering leader to manage the AWS Marketplace Catalog services. The Catalog services enables Sellers to manage their product catalog and lifecycle of their products. Managing the product catalog often involves multiple actors across ISVs, Resellers, Channel Partners, and MP Operators. The Catalog services enable them to coordinate and streamline these business-critical change-management processes.

As the Senior Engineering Leader owning the Catalog teams, you will have a chance to interact with large AWS customers, including leading enterprises and high growth startups, and use their feedback to drive innovation. You'll hire talented tech leaders and bring them together into teams that innovate and deliver. Your responsibilities include direct management of managers and senior engineers, strategic planning, partnering in product definition and customer communication.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned, mature engineering leader who can work collaboratively with cross-functional business and software development teams to solve critical business problems. You understand scalable computing systems, architectures, data structures, and algorithms, and contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions. You also know how to run a tight, lean, and efficient operation. You will use your high judgement to prioritize the right work, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and build a strong culture of engineering excellence rooted in customer obsession. You must be comfortable with ambiguity and eager to embrace ownership and accountability.

This role can be based either in Seattle, Austin or NY
