Product Business Analyst Description: 6 months. Remote, but must be local to Texas.
Responsibilities:
Gather and document Business and Functional requirements
Conduct gap analysis of the requirements information
Internal and external workshop facilitation
Create project-specific requirements deliverables and manage them through change control process
Work with developers to ensure requirement understanding and solution feasibility
Collaborate with testers to resolve business and functional requirements intent and testing issues
Work with customers to understand business needs and translate to product configuration
Identify and analyze functional gaps for products based on customer feedback
Lead or participate in requirements workshops with project stakeholders (both internal and external)
Identify issues and risks related to requirements and formulate mitigation strategies
Act as Subject Matter Expert for key products within the framework of large projects
Facilitate customer aftercare meetings to identify ongoing issues and ensure high long term customer satisfaction
Skills & Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working on medium to large scale projects
Experience as a business or systems analyst on software delivery projects.
Experience with software development projects and SDLC
Ability to write detailed, clear concise requirements docs
Experience collecting, documenting, assimilating, estimating, and prioritizing requirements with business input
Ability to build strong customer relationships
Ability to understand complex, interconnected IT systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Detail oriented
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong facilitation skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours (customer meetings in different time zones)
Experience using JIRA and DOORS a plus
Logistics or retailer supply chain experience a plus
Waterfall experience a plus
Math and/or statistics skills a plus
