Role: SDET- Data Platform
Location: Austin, TX

Description:
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or DevOps.
Focus on automated testing of back end services and data pipelines
Proficient Java Core and Maven, comfortable with Bash scripting in Linux environment
Excellent understating and proven experience of testing Distributed Computing systems, preferably Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka, Solr
Hands on experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes and/or AWS
Nice to have development or devOps experience related to setting up CI pipelines, corresponding monitoring and dashboarding
Solid knowledge of Git and GitHub flows
Python experience is a plus
Soft skills must include ability to and willingness to learn new topics quickly and independently
The goal is to assist with test automation of backend services exposed via API and CLI using Java and other programming languages, and be able to quickly assert functionality / do exploratory testing using standard no-coding tools. This position's tasks might also include but will be not limited to creation of API testing framework for micro-services, GitHub repository management and reporting solution, Quality Dashboard and API integration service.
