One of Our Investment Bank Clients is looking for 2 Sr Google Cloud Database developers in Austin, TX / West Lake, TX or Denver, CO. This role is a potential Contract to Hire with a Hybrid work option.
This role needs hands on lead experience with Google Cloud Platform Database Modeling and extracting data from Oracle, SQL Server to the New System. The primary responsibility of the Database Developer within Risk Management Technology is to provide database and SQL solutioning to the delivery team in the buildout of a new technology platform to support the Financial Crimes organization.
Job Details:
Must have: 8+ years of hands-on experience creating, administering, and troubleshooting large databases
2+ years of experience of designing scalable data technical solutions within medium to large/complex projects with multiple dependencies using Agile processes in planning, implementation.
Demonstrated track record of making technical decisions at the application level (vendor/technology, solution design, assessing tradeoffs).
Experience designing and developing relational databases in Oracle and SQL Server
Nice to have:
Experience designing and developing within cloud-based SaaS solutions strongly preferred.
Strong technology affinity and experience, as well as attention to detail, coupled with the ability to design and execute aligned to strategic goals.
Good knowledge of the Atlassian suite of products - Confluence & Jira.
Good knowledge of NoSQL databases.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a flexible and fast-paced environment across multiple time zones and locations
