We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Host/Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables, ensuring an inviting atmosphere.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff using Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems.
Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure timely service delivery.
Uphold high standards of guest relations by demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests alike.
A passion for the hospitality industry with a focus on guest services and relations.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
