KITCHEN/PREP POSITION FOR JUICE BAR

Our production kitchen performs like a team - all positions in the kitchen are shared by all team members.
Some of the following are prep duties:
-Prep fruits and vegetables
-Follow proper prep lists and keep up with production schedule
-Assist department staff with inventory
-Make juices using a cold-pressed juicer
-Maintain cold-pressed juice area clean and sanitized
-Maintain a safe work area
-Prep and package
-Assist in other areas as needed
-Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations
Kitchen/Prep experience is preferred but not necessary if you are interested in this type of work.
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store, including weekends (a must).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
-Bending & lifting up to 40 pounds
-Move stock from storage to shelf/preparation areas (boxes of fruits/vegetables, prepared items, etc.)
-Repetitive movement
-Cutting veggies and fruit with a knife
-Daily work with knives and other sharp items
-Ability to confidently use the cold press juicer
-Washing cold press machine and dishes and cleaning your area daily
-Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
