Position Overview:
Chef John DeLucie (S&G Brands) is seeking an experienced and innovative Production Chef to join our team. As the Production Chef, you will play a critical role in overseeing the execution of culinary production, ensuring the consistent quality, efficiency, and scalability of our operations. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage culinary production processes, including meal assembly, cooking, and packaging, to meet daily production targets.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality across all aspects of production.
Collaborate with the culinary team to optimize recipes for scalability, efficiency, and flavor.
Oversee inventory management and procurement, ensuring adequate supplies of ingredients and packaging materials.
Train and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Monitor production metrics and performance indicators, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Production Chef, Sous Chef, or similar role in a high-volume culinary environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols, with experience implementing and enforcing best practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
