We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager for our Mexican food restaurant who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team. As a pivotal member of our restaurant, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a diverse team of staff, including servers, chefs, and support staff.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards, addressing any guest concerns promptly and effectively.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Handle scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of staff members.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Manage financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative strategies to enhance the restaurant's performance.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Proven experience in restaurant management, with a strong understanding of food and beverage operations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
- Proficiency in computer software for inventory management and scheduling (e.g., POS systems).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and willingness to enforce compliance.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive base salary, depending on experience from 50k to 65k per year, plus a bonus based on performance.
