Job Overview:
As a Server at The Pastrami Guy, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and impeccable service. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing an exceptional dining experience. Your role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellent service and creating a friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff.
Thursday-Sunday 4:30-10:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service: Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously. Provide a friendly and professional dining experience by addressing guest needs and inquiries.
Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted. Enter orders into the point-of-sale system efficiently.
Food & Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring that orders are correct and presented attractively. Handle special requests and resolve any issues to the guest's satisfaction.
Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Ensure the restaurant is prepared for each shift by stocking supplies as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, and other servers to ensure smooth operation and excellent service. Assist colleagues during busy periods to ensure efficient service.
Cash Handling: Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit transactions, and provide change as needed. Maintain accurate records of transactions and tips.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a server role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Attributes: Friendly, attentive, and customer-focused. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry trays, and handle physical demands of the role.
