Our one-doctor, general dentistry practice needs a dental assistant to complete our team! We are located in the beautiful Hill Country, approximately 8 miles West of the Highway 71 / 620 intersection (Hill Country Galleria), between Lakeway and Spicewood. Though our address is Spicewood, we are located closer to Bee Cave. Please bear in mind your commuting distances when you respond.
The perfect candidate will have at least one year assisting experience working directly with a dentist in back-office patient procedures. He/she must be self-motivated, positive, and eager to learn! We operate using Dentrix software, with digital x-ray systems. Front Desk experience is a Plus!
You ABSOLUTELY must be dependable, mature, and able to see the 'big picture'! The best person for this position will be able to begin and end the day with the same high energy level, without whining, skipping steps, or 'dropping the ball'. Sometimes we need to stay past our regular working hours to accommodate patient emergencies, so no 'clock-watchers'! We currently operate on a 3-day patient care schedule
Since you will be the sole dental assistant, the back-office will be "your baby"you will be personally responsible for making sure all materials, instruments, lab work, etc. are ready for the patient's appointments. Planning ahead is very important, and saves all involved from headaches that come from not being prepared! Direct contact with the doctor on a daily basis begs for a calm, positive personality, able to bridge the gap between patient and doctor. You are the assistant we need here!
